Christina Stoffer patiently waited for her playing opportunity as a freshman a year ago and is ready to take advantage of the chance to break into the starting lineup this spring. Capable of playing just about anywhere on the diamond, she will most likely concentrate on the outfield this year, an area where her range and quickness will assist her defensively.

2008 - FRESHMAN SEASON
Starter in one of 10 games she played...hit .333 with two hits, one double, one triple, three RBI and two stolen bases...led team in slugging (.833) and on-base (.429) percentage...recorded a pinch-hit, two-run triple vs. Loyola (5/10)...stole a base and scored vs. Wright State (3/29).

HIGH SCHOOL
Second team All-Ohio honoree after junior and senior seasons...hit .416, with 37 hits, 34 runs, 14 runs batted in, and 29 stolen bases during senior campaign...first team all-city selection...all-conference pick...led team to runner-up finish at 2005 State Championship...also won fourth league and three district titles...four-year letterwinner in both soccer and softball.

Born Sept. 27, 1988...daughter of Robert and Michele Stoffer...has an older sister, Lindsey...pre-nursing major.
