CSU Women Move Into Fifth Place Tie In Team Standings

CHICAGO, Ill. - Cleveland State jumped into a fifth place tie with Youngstown State with 97 points during Day Two of the Horizon League Championships at Flames Natatorium at UIC. Senior Marianne Lionell led the way with a seventh place swim in the 50 free in 24.50. The effort was her best of the season in that event. Junior Deanna Raedel also registered team points in the 50 free, placing 14th with a time of 25.10. CSU placed fifth in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:03.72. Sophomore Jen MacLauchlan led the way in the lead leg with strong backstroke splits.
