Olean, NY - The women's swimming and diving team (2-2) received strong performances from seniors Audrey Gray (South Euclid, Ohio/Brush) and Georgian Peric (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid), but were on the short end of a 136-89 result at St. Bonaventure (3-3) on Saturday.

Gray won the 500 freestyle with a season-best 5:21.27. She also pulled a third place finish in the 200 yard IM with a 2:17.40.

Peric took home first place in the 100 breaststroke, swimming a season-best 1:12.10.

Freshman Helene Vorster (Senekal, South Africa/Oranje Girls School) continues to swim well in her first collegiate season, grabbing a first and two seconds in NY. She won the 100 freestyle (:55.30) and finished second in the 50 freestyle (:25.97). Vorster also swam the first leg of the 800 freestyle relay that finished second (8:05.74).

CSU will host its only home meet of 2001 when it squares off against Baldwin Wallace College and Gannon University at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14 in Busbey Natatorium.
