CLEVELAND - Cleveland State sophomore Tina Abbott (Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands/First Baptist Christian School) earned Horizon League Women's Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending January 19. She joins sophomore Samantha Jones (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa/Pietermaritzburg) as Vikings to be recognized by the conference this year.

Abbot took first place in the 500 freestyle (5:16.43) and second place in the 1,000 freestyle (10:50.29) against Duquesne last week.

Cleveland State hosts St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium.
