AMES, Iowa - Charlotte Gibbons picked up a win at No. 4 singles and teamed with Catrine Bjerrehus for a win at No. 1 doubles, but Cleveland State dropped a 6-1 decision at Iowa State in a nonconference match on Wednesday afternoon. The loss dropped CSU to 7-10 this season, while the Cyclones evened their record at 8-8. Bjerrehus and Gibbons were the lone CSU doubles squad to win, earning an easy 8-1 win at the No. 1 spot. Gibbons then went on to post a 5-7, 6-4, 10-7 win at No. 4 singles. CSU concludes its spring break trip with a 12:00 p.m. match against South Dakota on Thursday, March 18.
