Final Stats

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown State sophomore Colleen Royer recorded a double-double with 15 kills and a career-high 23 digs while hitting .344 to lead the YSU volleyball team (8-3, 1-2) to its first Horizon League victory over Cleveland State (4-6, 0-3), 19-30, 31-29, 30-21, 30-22, Saturday, in Beeghly Center.

For the Vikings, junior outside hitter Lori Betchker recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 16 digs. Junior outside hitter Michelle Iafigliola and freshman middle blocker Jamie Bouyer added 12 and 11 kills, respectively.

Cleveland State returns to action in a non-league contest against St. Francis (PA) on Tuesday, October 2 at 7 p.m. at Woodling Gymnasium.
