Pratt Leads Viking Runners To Eighth-Place Finish At Mel Brodt Invitational

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Shariah Pratt once again led the Cleveland State women's cross country team, as they finished eighth at the Mel Brodt Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio, on Saturday. Pratt finished 46th in the Division I field, posting a time of 20:36.76 on the 5k course.

Also running for the Vikings were Vanessa Anna, who finished 49th in the DI race (22:25), Tina Peric, who was 50th (22:36), Julene Nickoloff, who finished 51st (22:45), Shilah Pratt, who ended up 52nd (24:47), Marlene Przykling in 53rd (25:24) and Leah Kenner in 54th (28:06).

Kristie Kieffer of Oakland won the individual race, finishing in 17:39. Central Michigan took the team title, scoring 33 points.

The Vikings will next compete at the Toledo Invitational on Sat., Sept. 20.
