Contact: David Barry

Julene Nickoloff finished a team-best 218th as the Cleveland State women's cross country team ran at the 2004 All-Ohio Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships Friday afternoon in Delaware, Ohio. Just three runners competed for the Vikings, disallowing any team score to be computed in the meet.

Nickoloff ran a 22:51, which was good enough for 218th place. Vanessa Anna ran a even 26:00 to place 262nd, while Shilah Pratt finished right behind her in 263rd place with a 26:12.

"The girls ran hard," coach Allison Had said after the meet. "They faced hot weather and huge hills, and they did well."

Ruth Limo of Cincinnati turned in the fastest time of the day at 18:08. Kent State edged Ohio State, 113-115, to win the team title at the 50th annual running of the championships.
