Oct. 15, 2005

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Cleveland State finished sixth among Division I schools at the Falcon Invitational on Saturday morning. Toledo won the 5K race hosted by Bowling Green at the Forrest Creason Golf Course. Sherri Douglas paced the Viking effort with a personal-best time of 19:47.

"I'm happy with how we ran overall, we keep improving on our times every week," CSU head coach Joe Jaketic said. "I had hoped to be closer to the league schools, but at least we're in their rearview mirrors."

The Rockets claimed the team title with 23 points to easily outdistance runner-up Bowling Green (58) and Central Michigan (64). Detroit was in fourth with 121 points, followed by Wright State (132) and CSU (161).
