CLEVELAND - The Cleveland State womn's cross country team will head to Bowling Green, Ohio, for the Mel Brodt Invitational this weekend. Saturday's events are scheduled to get underway at 1:15 p.m.

Last Week
The Vikings ran at the Tommy Evans Invitational in Akron, Ohio, and finished fourth out of the four teams competing. Shariah Pratt (Wickliffe, Ohio/Wickliffe) led all Viking runners, finishing in 22nd place in 21:13. Also running at Akron over the weekend were Tina Peric (Euclid, Ohio/Euclid) in 26th place (23:15), Julene Nickoloff (Vermilion, Ohio/Clearview) in 27th place (23:20), Vanessa Anna (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Joseph Academy) in 28th place (23:46), Marlene Przykling (Ingersoll, Ont., Can./Ingersoll) in 29th place (23:58) and Leah Kenner (Thief River Falls, Minn./Lincoln) in 30th (27:25).

On The Schedule
The Vikings will travel to nearly every corner of the state this season, as the 2003 schedule takes them to Northwest Ohio twice (Bowling Green, Toledo), Southeast Ohio (Athens) and Central Ohio (Delaware) before the Horizon League Championships, which will be held in Boardman, Ohio. The only meet on the schedule outside of the state of Ohio is the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, which will be held on November 15, 2003, in Terre Haute, Ind.
