CSU Nets Five Wins at Army

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Cleveland State University fencing teams continued their 2018-19 season Saturday at the Army Invitational inside Eisenhower Hall.

The CSU men posted a mark of 3-3 on the day in dual action while the women went 2-5.

The Viking men lost to Drew (9-18) before reeling off three straight wins—securing victories over Hunter (17-10), Detroit Mercy (14-13) and Army (16-11). CSU ended its day with setbacks to Navy (9-18) and Stevens (6-21).

The CSU women lost to Drew (6-21), beat Hunter (18-9), lost to CCNY (11-16), Detroit Mercy (11-16) and Army (9-18), beat Navy (14-13) and lost to Stevens (6-21).

Cleveland State will be right back in action Sunday at the Vassar Invitational.
